It's amazing how busy Takei is these days, yet somewhere along the way he managed to voice a character in the new animated film from Laika Entertainment titled Kubo and the Two Strings. The name of his character is not yet known, but the story is about a boy, gods, monsters, and a magical suit of armor. We take a quick peek at the project, Takei, and the director.

We take a moment to remember another of the Star Trek family who we've lost, prolific character actor Jason Wingreen, who played Dr. Linke in the third-season TOS episode “The Empath.” Wingreen was also the voice of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back, and appeared in episodes are countless TV shows between 1955 and 1994. He was truly everywhere.
