We take a moment to remember another of the Star Trek family who we've lost, prolific character actor Jason Wingreen, who played Dr. Linke in the third-season TOS episode “The Empath.” Wingreen was also the voice of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back, and appeared in episodes are countless TV shows between 1955 and 1994. He was truly everywhere.

When we watch the Star Trek films and episodes, a lot of the props go by unnoticed—they've become such a part of a universe that feels real to us. But there are so many props involved in producing a single story—to say nothing of the franchise as a whole—and someone has to keep track of it all. For many years, Penny Juday did just that. Sadly, she passed away on December 19 of colon and liver cancer at the young age of 60. We take a moment to look back at her contributions to Trek.
