Publisher’s Thoughts on Discovery.
Nearly two years after CBS announced that the Star Trek story would continue in a fifth spinoff series, the pilot episode, “The Vulcan Hello,” has arrived. Following a star-studded red-carpet premiere at Arclight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on September 19, fans will get their first full look at Star Trek: Discovery on September 24.
In this episode of The Edge, on the eve of the long-awaited launch, host Mike Schindler beams in Trek.fm creator and publisher C Bryan Jones for one last speculative discussion of details ranging from the timeline to props to uniforms. Oh … there are also those Klingons and everyone’s favorite C word: canon. And when it’s all done, we have one more announcement.
