Featuring five points of articulation, the new Spock, Uhura, McCoy, and Sulu are modeled after the classic Kenner 3 3/4-inch action figures and come in retro-style blister packs.

Hyperchannel 71: Kirkstarter Cleared for Docking

Star Trek Continues Funding Campaign Final Days.

The fan-based, non-profit production Star Trek Continues is in the final days of its Kirkstarter 2.0, a campaign to fund at least two additional episodes of the series. The original goal of the campaign, which ends February 16, was to raise $100,000 to fund all aspects of their fifth and sixth episodes. Since they’ve already reached that goal there are ambitious stretch goals to build an Engineering set, a Planet Set, and to fund the creation of up to seven additional episodes.

If you have any device plugged into the internet, you know by now that Roberto Orci wants to bring William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy back together. As the site Badass Digest has reported, the script for the next film—called Star Trek 3 by many—includes a scene that features Shatner and Nimoy together.
