Last week, Bryan Fuller stepped back from his role as showrunner on Star Trek: Discovery. Taking over for him are executive producers Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts, who have worked on such shows as Roswell, Pushing Daisies, and GCB. Additionally, it was revealed that writer/producer Akiva Goldsman has joined the team to give support to Berg, Harberts, and the rest of the staff.
In this episode of Stage Nine, John and Mike take a look at the various staff changes. We discuss Fuller's reasons for leaving, Berg and Harberts' work thus far, and Goldsman's career as a screenwriter.
