Star Trek London to Bring Together All Five Captains by Trek fm

Buzz has been building around the official event “Destination Star Trek London,” which will take place Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21. Until now, however, not much has been known about what—or who—fans can expect to see. That has changed… in a big way.

Organizer 10 Media Ltd. have announced that all five captains will come together at ExCel London for an unprecedented weekend of Star Trek in the UK. William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, and Scott Bakula will share the stage for the first time ever at an official event. It’s a moment that fans have been waiting for since before life began on your planet. Uhm… well maybe not that long. But it’s been a while.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 30 but if you’ve signed up to Starfleet you’ll get first dibs ahead of the general release at the official website, which is newly launched and filled with information about the event.

More than 14,000 people have already signed up for information over the past few weeks as teasers have circulated according to Rob Nathan, marketing director for 10 Media. We’ve been hearing for a while now that a build up of tachyons and special eventyons were detected near London. At last we have an idea of what it all means. Starfleet Command has confirmed that Destination Star Trek will be landing in London this October!

Details are still light, but what we can tell you is that an official event—Destination Star Trek London—will take place at ExCel London Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21.

At this special event you’ll have a chance to meet the stars, get autographs, pose for professional photos, see realistic sets, costumes, and props, watch stunning stunt shows, and hear from the amazing people who made Star Trek.

Tickets go on sale this month, and if you’ve signed up to Starfleet you’ll get first dibs on Monday, April 16 at 1 p.m. British Time. On that same date the first guests will be announced and the official website will launch. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 30.
