From Navigation to "Stimulation"
by Shanna Gilkeson
Anthony Montgomery has been a busy man of late. Appearing on VH1’s Single Ladies, which premiered on May 30, his role of Darryl represents a departure from the nice-guy Travis Mayweather we know on Star Trek: Enterprise.
What some fans may not know is that Montgomery, 40, has also been focusing his energy on music. That’s right. This multifaceted actor also performs and produces music as a hip hop artist.
Montgomery’s latest single, “Stimulation,” was set to debut on Single Ladies Monday, August 1, however VH1 released the video early on July 29. As someone who lives close to Detroit—an area known almost as much for hip hop as it is for cars—I will enjoy shaking neighborhoods as I test the limits of my car stereo with this track. Radio- and club-friendly, “Stimulation” is a great add to any summer party playlist.

Be sure to watch Anthony Montgomery on Single Ladies Monday Nights at 9pm Eastern on VH1.
