Second Tier Voting for "Delphies" Begins!
by Shanna Gilkeson
Anticipation builds as the second round of voting for the Delphic Expanse Awards (“Delphies”) begins.
Coinciding with Star Trek: Enterprise’s tenth anniversary, fan community The Delphic Expanse is celebrating its first birthday by honoring its members’ creative contributions to Enterprise fandom. The first tier of voting in fan fiction categories ran from August 1 through August 15. The winners of the first round are now competing for the top spots in three smaller groups. Second tier voting runs from August 16 through August 31. Winners of those categories will compete in the final round, which will run from September 1 through September 10. Voting for untiered categories will remain open until September 10. Winners are to be announced on September 11, which marks the first anniversary of The Delphic Expanse.

There is still time to get involved in the Delphies, even if you have missed the nomination phase or the first voting cycle. Voting is restricted to Expanse members. Registration is free and only takes a few minutes. Voting instructions are only visible to members who are logged in. Details—including lists of first round winners, honorable mentions, and nominees in untiered categories—can be found here.
