Blow Up the Damn Ship! Self Destructs from Across Star Trek

The crew of the Dork Trek podcast love to make fun of Captain Picard for trying to blow up his ship at every opportunity—especially in the early seasons. But they have a good point. Picard and other captains from across Starfleet have played the destruct card on more than a few occasions.

YouTube user Slash1117 has assembled nine minutes of clips from TOS, The Search for Spock, TNG, First Contact, DS9, and Voyager showing the wide range of systems built by Starfleet to help you blow up the damn ship! And, as Slash1117 points out in the video notes, although the Enterprise NX-01 did not have a self destruct system, Captain Archer still threatened to blow up the ship.
