Is Star Trek Online the New Hollywood? Cerberus Films Builds Their Sets Inside STO

If you think Star Trek Online is just a game, think again. Led by BAFTA Award-nominated filmmaker Oliver V. Smith, Cerberus Films is creating a Star Trek series directly inside Star Trek Online.

The series, called Star Trek: Reunion, premiered with Episode 1 “The Gathering Storm.” It’s the first part of a 10-part series that features five Starfleet captains as they wrestle with the recent death of one of their own at the hands of a Klingon General. As their tales of rememberance continue, they unwittingly uncover clues and begin to realize that maybe her death wasn’t meaningless.
